The SharePoint Portal Server in a Box is a great way to jumpstart your knowledge management initiative and intranet portal plans.  This service offering is designed to provide you with consulting services to help rapidly design and deploy a SharePoint portal.  This service consists of design sessions, hands-on implementation and training sessions. Our team will deliver this service over a one-week period.

Overview

Proactive will take you from Requirements Analysis to Deployment. During this time we will:

• Review your business requirements and develop the Portal Area and Site design.
• Setup and test the pre-configured SharePoint Portal Server on your Network.
• Configure the Microsoft Management Console for SharePoint Portal Server.
• Install and configure SharePoint Portal Server for a limited number of users.
• Customize the SharePoint Portal Server using standard WebParts
• Load a limited amount of content
• Configure Index and Search for limited content sources as a start. The content sources can include internal or external web sites and Exchange Public folders.
• Provide basic End User training for up to 25 Users.
• Provide Portal Management training for up to three people.
